Keswick provides numerous challenges for the active and adventurous.

Climbing

Keswick's mountains include Skiddaw, which is one of the Lake District's highest mountains at over 3000ft, and provide challenging climbs.

Keswick climbing wall has an indoor climbing wall, and offers climbing lessons and outdoor activity days including ghyll scrambling, canoeing, abseiling, climbing, mountain biking, raft building and an assault course.

Fell running

Fell races - including the Latrigg races- are a challenge for the most energetic runners, and make excellent entertainment for the rest of us. The Cumbrian Fell Runners is one organisation which participates.

Other activities
